My name is Zorack Shahzad Aziz, since launching my private practice in 2020, I have been deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. My journey into therapy began with two years of clinical training at Sue Ryder Wheatfield’s Hospice in Leeds, where I offered compassionate bereavement support to families. Since then, I have successfully guided clients through various struggles, including anxiety, trauma, depression, work-related stress, and relationship issues.
With a background in education, I’ve always seen myself as a helper. My experience in teaching and lecturing for over 20 years has equipped me with the skills to connect with people, understand human behaviours, and approach others with insight, empathy, and non-judgemental acceptance.
I aim to create a warm, down-to-earth environment where my clients feel understood and respected. My approach blends intuition with analytical thinking, ensuring a balance between empathy and objectivity. I value establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, believing that open, honest dialogue is key to effective healing.

To maintain and enhance my skills, I regularly attend clinical supervision with an accredited psychotherapist and engage in ongoing professional development (CPD). I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS disclosure, providing peace of mind for those I work with.
My decision to transition into therapy was driven by a desire to support others in overcoming psychological and emotional difficulties. I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour and the ways in which life experiences shape us. Therapy allows me to work one-on-one with clients, helping them navigate their own unique life challenges, and guiding them toward a place of self-understanding and healing.
I believe in a holistic approach to health and well-being, considering both physical and mental wellness as essential to a balanced life. Personal development has been a lifelong interest of mine, and I am committed to helping my clients take charge of their lives and make meaningful changes.
Every individual’s experience is unique, and I approach therapy with an open mind, respecting my clients’ perspectives. The therapeutic relationship, built on trust and mutual understanding, can be a powerful tool for change. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and thrive, empowering you to become the best version of yourself. Therapy with me is about moving beyond merely surviving – it’s about thriving.
I focus on the present moment while recognising the influence of past experiences. This approach enables clients to lead more fulfilling lives and move forward in positive, healthy ways. I prioritise transparency and honesty, creating a safe space where clients can comfortably explore their inner selves.
People seek therapy for a range of reasons, from life-changing events and trauma to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or searching for purpose, therapy can help you gain clarity and direction. It can also assist in improving relationships and resolving issues rooted in the past.
You don’t have to face these challenges alone. In therapy, we will explore how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others, uncovering the deeper aspects of your experiences. This process of self-awareness can lead to increased resilience, insight, and inner strength.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength. Therapy offers you the opportunity to work through difficult thoughts and emotions in a safe, supportive environment. Together, we can explore your unique experiences and help you take back control of your life. Whether you're seeking healing or personal growth, I’m here to support you at your own pace.
I’m passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health, particularly encouraging men to seek help and increase their self-awareness. Therapy can help you accept yourself fully, and I’m here to listen without judgement, offering you the guidance you need to move forward. Taking the step toward therapy marks the beginning of your journey to healing and growth. Together, we can work toward creating meaningful change in your life.
Mental health is as important as physical health, and seeking support should be seen as an act of strength. Therapy allows you to explore your life in a non-judgemental, compassionate space, where you can gain clarity and transform your life. Let’s take this first step together.
